Activities at Hawks Point

Hawks Point's wide array of activities is designed to create a quality of life that is physically active, socially engaged, and involved in the community. We believe an environment that is stimulating — socially, physically and mentally — is an environment that will keep residents young — no matter how old.

Join your neighbors in our Bistro, order a soda or a glass of wine, and enjoy a game of Scrabble, Pinochle, Trivia, or Bridge — all of which are great for mental stimulation. Head over to DSU with a friend and use your Student ID for free admittance to sporting events, lectures, or the theatre. Or head upstairs to our Activity Room for special projects, puzzles, crafts, and cooking parties.

Everyone can get involved in our SAIL fitness program. Developed with seniors in mind, this fitness program is designed to improve strength and balance, key to fall prevention. If group classes aren't for you, sign up with our one-on-one coach, or head down two blocks to Dickinson's state-of-the-art White River Community Center.

Let us do the driving and head out with a group for some serious shopping and lunch. Maybe a day at the casino is more to your liking. We have a full-time Activity Coordinator on staff, and pride ourselves in offering a variety of social and recreational opportunities for our residents. We believe offering a well-rounded Activities Program is one of the keys to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
